University of Maryland - New Student Orientation

To reduce the amount of paper products we distribute throughout the orientation program, we have created the Orientation Virtual Folder. Instead of providing approximately 10,000 new students with close to 30 sheets of materials, we have placed all of them on this website.

Feel free to browse through this site at your own pace and print out any materials you find useful. This site will be updated as new information becomes available.

The Orientation Office considers the environment by utilizing recycled paper products, reducing production and consumption of certain materials, recycling and composting of orientation materials, and limiting electrical consumption.
